Scottsdale retreat

SC slipped out before dawn to catch her flight back to New York City. I rose at my leisure a couple of hours later, and toted some CAGNY water out to the resort grounds to take in a few moments of solitude and luxury before I was to meet J for the somewhat less swanky portion of the trip.

I caught a faint whiff of mesquite in the air as I enjoyed the vistas of the McDowell Mountains in the distance on this sunny, clear morning. Things were off to a fine start.
